How we are feeling emotionally right now here at Di Rita’s....

The last few weeks have been the hardest and a very difficult time for us all. The prime minister closed all restaurants down and it was clear we needed to put the health and safety of our team and customers first.

On a personal level it was soul destroying. Everything we have worked for and lived for. The people who work within the Di Rita’s Group have a strong attachment to the people who dine with us and many of you have a strong attachment not only to the brand but also to the people within Di Rita’s over the last four years. We miss you all terribly.

We are working every day to get updates on government help and as yet are still waiting for updates.

It is our mission as it always has been to supply the best quality fresh food when you dine with us and the team are now working long hours to work at our Pizzeria & Deli to supply you all with fresh daily bread and lots more. We were never set up for pizza delivery before this - but we are now doing this so we can deliver to everyone. We want to brighten up your day and we serve a clear purpose that we will do our best to try and make things feel that little bit normal during this time. Birthdays and Easter can be looked after 😊

Di Rita’s Farm is being worked on during this time which is fantastic so we will have lots of fresh goodies for sale at our deli and also will be served straight to your plate when you have dinner at the restaurant. The growing of our own fruit and vegetables is very important to us.

We cannot wait to raise a glass with you all again at our restaurant when it is safe to re-open (a big Italian party will be organised). In the meantime stay safe and healthy and the restaurant looks forward to celebrating a new way of life (where happiness and gratitude must come first) when this is all over.

With love from Andrew & Merinda (Ilaria & Gino) and everyone at Team Di Rita’s.

(for anyone who would like to support us through this time we are now selling vouchers for when we re open so you have something to look forward to)
